Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Review: 90’s Arcade action with a fresh coat of paint
Call of Juarez Gunslinger is a welcome addition to our
downloaded games library. Gunslinger, set in a fictional old west, has a
“dime novel” shoot em’ up feel to it. Its fast-paced, violent arcade
action grabs and holds your attention leaving you wanting for nothing. This
appears to be the main focus of the game’s creators as the campaign is very
linear; exploration may have very well stolen away from the story and pace of
the game.
In short, Gunslinger’s story, voice acting, gameplay, mini-games, and
appearance are all key parts of its success. Priced at $14.99, Gunslinger is
definitely a “buy it” title and an incredible value.
